Uma das maiores e mais respeitadas cerimônias do mundo pop, Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), acontece esse ano em Las Vegas, Estados Unidos, no dia 22 de maio. A premiação deste ano será apresentada pelo rapper e ator Ludacris, conhecido pelo seu trabalho no filme Velozes e Furiosos, e a cantora dona do hit "I bet", Ciara. 

Entre os confirmados a performarem no evento estão DNCE, Troye Sivan, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas com Tove Lo, Pink, Justin Bieber e Fifth Harmony com Ty Dolla $ign. No decorrer das semanas mais nomes devem ser anunciados. 

Porém, a grande atração da noite fica por conta da princesa do pop, Britney Spears. A cantora performará um medley com os grandes hits de sua carreira, além de seu novo single "Make Me", com lançamento previsto para o dia 20 deste mês. Saiba tudo sobre o novo single clicando aqui. 

Além disso, Britney Spears será a grande homenageada da cerimônia e receberá o prêmio The Millennium Award. O prêmio homenageia artistas com conquistas excepcionais e  de grande influência na indústria musical. Também já ganharam o prêmio as cantoras Beyoncé (2011) e Whitney Houston (2012).

Outra artista a ser homenageada no BBMAs é Celine Dion, a cantora receberá o prêmio Icon Awards, além de subir ao palco para apresentar a música "The Show Must Go On", do Queen.

O líder de indicações do evento é o cantor The Weeknd, em 16 categorias. Na sequência vem Justin Bieber, em 11 categorias, e Drake e Fetty Wap, indicados em 10 categorias. A festa promete ser especial também para Taylor Swift e Adele que vão concorrer em 8 categorias.
